Pastor Doug Peterson - Senior Pastor

Doug grew up in a Christian home in Toledo, Ohio, where his family attended an Alliance church. After he went to Houghton College, in New York State, his parents moved to Columbus, and were members of First Alliance for about twenty years. Doug met his wife, Linda, at Houghton, where they both earned Bachelor of Arts degrees. After getting married, they moved to Massachusetts, where Doug earned his M.Div. degree at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Since 1976, he has been licensed and ordained, while serving churches in North Carolina, New Jersey, and Ohio. He plays viola and guitar, and enjoys reading and spending time with his grandsons. Linda teaches public school music and plays piano and violin. The couple began their ministry at First Alliance in 2009. Their son, Joel, lives in the horn of Africa with his wife, Elizabeth, and their son, Isaiah. Their daughter, Julia Richardson, lives in Ohio with her husband, Roscoe, and their son, Micah.

Pastor Burt Manchester - Children/Family Ministries

Burt grew up in Canfield, Ohio where he enjoyed sports, neighborhood activities, and going to the Canfield Fair each fall. He became a follower of Christ before his senior year in high school. Later, Burt and his wife Jan traveled to St. Paul, MN where he attended Bethel Theological Seminary. Burt and his family have been with First Alliance Columbus leading the ministries of KIDMO and Urban Connections. Burt and Jan have three beautiful daughters, Shari, Sara and Caryn and are new grandparents.

Pastor Jim DiMauro - Student Ministries

Jim grew up in Springfield, MA where he met his wonderful wife Lucy. After having their first child, Nicholas, they wanted to get away from some of the negative influences in their lives. Moving to Florida in 1982 changed their lives forever. Jim received Christ in November 1987 while attending Deltona Alliance Church. In 1989 Jim sensed the call for full time ministry, and later graduated from the Church Leadership Academy. He has been in ministry for over 20 years.

Jim and Lucy have four children: Nicholas, Christina, Matthew and Rachel.
